Forward Gmail to SMS in 60 seconds

Get important emails as text messages. No app required — just set up a Gmail filter.

Step 1: Get your mail2txt address
  1. Sign in or create an account
  2. Go to Routes and add your phone number
  3. Verify your phone with the 6-digit code we send
  4. Copy your unique address (e.g. 12079441160@mail2txt.io)
Step 2: Create a Gmail filter
  1. Open Gmail and click the search box (Show search options)
  2. Set your criteria (e.g. From: alerts@yourcompany.com or Subject: urgent)
  3. Click "Create filter"
  4. Check "Forward it to:" and select or add your mail2txt address
  5. Click "Create filter"

Emails matching your filter will be forwarded to mail2txt and delivered as SMS within seconds.

Step 3: Test it

Send a test email to an address that matches your filter. You should receive it as an SMS within a few seconds.
